Can you please tell me a flowering plant that likes wet shady places outside? Also, it has to be non-toxic. It's for a daycare playground.

Pansies are a first choice, but they only bloom in the cool spring and fall months. Other types of Viola will remain green all season long, providing early spring color. Oxalis will grow in the spot. It looks like shamrock and produces little white flowers. Lobelia, ferns and impatiens are additional choices.
