I was given some Caladium bulbs, but don't know how deep to plant them in the pot. Could you please furnish this information?

Caladiums grow best in warm shade (they're native to the tropics). To plant in pots, use equal parts coarse sand, leaf mold and ground bark or peat moss. Use a 5-inch pot for small (2 1/2") tubers and a 7-inch pot for larger tubers. Plant each tuber, knobby side up, 2" below the soil surface and keep the growing medium moist but not soggy wet. Feed every week with a diluted fish fertilizer once the leaves appear.
