I have a large streptocarpella that I wintered inside. I would like to know how I can propagate the plant. Can I take stem cutting, leaf cuttings, etc.? It is a lovely shade dweller and I had difficulty locating the plant last year. Thank you.

These are gesneriads and in many respects similar to African violets. If your plant is one of the shrubbier species, it can be propagated by tip cuttings. If it is one of the shorter, tuftier types it can be propagated by leaf cuttings.
