Help! I have wild onions or chives growing in my flower beds. I have tried digging them out, but I can't dig them all out. It is very hard to get to the roots and it would probably take me a year to get them all out! How can I get rid of these? Is there anything I can spray to get rid of them?

You could try an herbicide containing glyphosate, but if they are close to your flowers you might try the wipe on application method rather than spraying. In either case, be careful to read and follow the label instructions and avoid contacting desirable plants with the chemical as it is nonselective and will damage them as well as the weeds.
