Question: Does anybody know what a rowan tree is and where it originated from?

Answer: Rowan Tree is another name for the European Mountainash or Sorbus aucuparia. According to Michale Dirr's "Manual of Woody Landscape Plants" it is native from Europe to western Asia and Siberia and is also naturalized in parts of North America.
