My house faces North and due to that the landscaping gets sun all day. I want to add color but I don't know what flowers or small decorative shrubs will survive the spring or summer months in constant sun. Please give me some suggestions.

I am a bit confused by your question as the north side of a building is normally shaded during most of the day except early morning and late afternoon. But in any case, there are many plants to chose form! For a sunny spot some easy to care for plants might include the small summer blooming spirea shrubs, dwarf butterfly bush and perennials such as daylilies, purple cone flower, and black eyed Susan. Easy annuals would include marigolds, petunias, zinnias, tithonia, sunflowers, and cosmos.
