I'm at wits end as to what perennial will do well. I have a long, narrow area against the front of my home that faces eastnortheast. It is in the shade until about 2:00pm and then gets quite warm in the summer. What perennials, nothing too large, would do well? |
The plants you choose should like sunshine, but tolerate part shade, as well. Some suggestions include lavender, Gazania, Oenothera (evening primrose), Gaillardia, Stachy (lamb's ear), Bailey multiradiata (desert marigold), and Liatris (gayfeather). Most of these plants remain between 4" and 12" in height. Lavender can be pruned to remain 12"-18" tall. Hope you find just the right plant! |
