The Q&A Archives: Boxelder Bugs Swarming

Question: Will boxelder bugs hurt my lambsear plants? They are all over them and I'd like to know how to get rid of them.

Answer: In my experience, boxelder bugs will not damage perennials such as lamb's ear plants. In spring you may see them still congregating in an area near where they sheltered during the cold weather. Once the weather warms up, they should disperse on their own.
