I am getting a variety of Blueberries that can fit in a patio planter called "Dwarf Tophat." It is suppose to be shipped 6-9 inches tall. I was wondering if it will produce berries this year or if I have to wait until next year?

In general, blueberries take several years to become well established and do not bear much if at all until they are five years old or so. I would not expect significant production of berries for several years at least.
