The Q&A Archives: Arenaria Balearica

Question: Can I use Arenaria balearica as a groundcover under a patio and where can I get some?

Answer: Arenaria balearica, or corsican sandwort formas a dense mat to 3" hight with thick, glossy oval leaves. It grows best in shade with lots of water. This plant is often used as a lawn substitute, but can become invasive, so contain it carefully.
