Our new home has mature orange trees. Two of the trees produce very sour oranges. Someone said that the trees were not grafted. Is this the problem and is there anything to do now to get sweet fruit?

The sweetness of your fruit is mostly due to the genetics of the tree. There's really no way to make it sweeter than it's genetically programmed to be. Wish there were something else to suggest - you can make marmalade with sour oranges!
