Well, sorry, but not really. You apparently have very rich, healthy soil filled with these friends of the garden. When it rains, that's just what worms do. Sorry I can't be more helpful to you. Maybe you could put out some birdfeeders to attract more birds, and they can take care of the worms? :-)
