MY COSMOS SEDLINGS STARTED TO FALL OFF ,I PUT SUPPORT TO HELP THE PLANTS STAY UP. IS THAT NORMAL? THE LEAVES OF THE PLANTS LOOK HEALTY BUT THE STEAMS LOOK WEAK AND PALE.ANY SUGGESTIONS? |
Cosmos seedlings tend to be tall and lanky but they should not be falling over. These plants need the brightest light possible because they grow best outside in hot sunny weather. You might check that you are not overwatering them (they should be barely moist, not soaking wet) and that they are not crowded because they should have good air circulation, too. Finally, be careful not to overfertilize these plants -- as a rule they grow better in lean soil. |
