| I currently live in Greensboro NC which is in zone 7. However, I am planning on moving up to a community near Ashville in the Great Smokie Mtns. I believe in zones 6b and 7a. I am a great fan of beautiful fragrant lilac bushes. Where, if at all will they grow in this state? |
| Lilacs have a requirement for a pronounced winter chill. If they don't get it, they won't bloom.
