I started my lettuce, broccoli and cabbage plants indoors under the lights from seed on March 11. I have fertilized and kept them moist and have the lights about 6-8 inches above the plants. What can I do to help these plants get stonger, they seem to be very droopy.

Try lowering the fluorescent lights so the bulbs are only 2"-3" above the tops of the plants. Leggy plants indicate they're reaching for the light instead of developing strong roots and stems. Once you adjust the light source, your plants should grow stout and sturdy.
