The Q&A Archives: Pollination And Blueberries

Question: A gardening book said you needed more than one type and plant of blueberries in order for them to reproduce. Is this true for todays domesticated bluberries?

Answer: Many blueberry varieties will produce fruit if you have a single plant or many plants of just one variety, but they'll produce a better crop if you have a second variety there to cross pollinate them.
