The Q&A Archives: Mature Height of Lysimachia Golden Harvest'

Question: I've ordered Lysimachia "Golden Harvest" from you. I haven't received them yet but was planning where to plant or hang them. I have some light requirement info from your article but was wondering how large these plants would get at blooming. I plan to put some in hanging planters and don't want either overcrowded or empty looking pots. Thanks for any help. I've always been happy with Burpee's help. Lynne Swayzee, IN

Answer: While Lysimachia clethroides (gooseneck loosestrife) grows to a height of 2-3 ft and Lysimachia punctata (yellow loosestrife) grows to a height of 18-30 inches, 'Golden Harvest' is a creeper and only grows to 6-8" tall. That's why it's great in containers and baskets. Enjoy!
