The Q&A Archives: Stringbeans

Question: When can I start planting stringbeans in the area I live in?

Answer: Beans are best planted after all danger of frost and when the soil has had a week or two to warm slightly; beans will germinate when the soil temperature has reached about 60 degrees, but a temperature closer to 70 is more optimum.
