Question: Could you tell me what bulbs that can be planted in the Spring,end of April, and will bloom the same summer. Are bulbs planted peak up or down?

Answer: Bulbs are planted pointy end up; tender summer blooming bulbs that can be planted in spring would include caladium, tuberose, gladiola, canna (technically not a bulb but often included) and so on.
