I am trying to find information on a small plant which bears fruit called ground cherries. I have been looking in vain and have asked at the local garden stores, but no one has heard of them. I would like to find a source to order them and would also like to find planting information on them. Would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks! |
Ground cherry is Physalis peruviana, a close relative of tomatillos. The fruit is ripe when the light brown papery husk has folded back to reveal the berry. You can order seeds from Territorial Seed Company (541) 942-9547. |
