For best production, how should I space my determinate and indeterminate tomato plants? Do some variaties have semi-indeterminate behavior, and how should I space these?

Yes, there are certainly semi-determinate types, and these usually grow 18-24 inches high. They perform best if caged or trellised just like indeterminate tomatoes.

If your determinate and semi-determinate plants are staked or caged, space the plants 1 1/2 to two feet apart. If you're allowing them to sprawl, plant them three to four feet apart. For indeterminate tomatoes, space the cages about four feet apart. Hope this helps!
