Hello..I have 2 butterfly bushes...they are about 30 feet apart...one purple, one white....one is 3 years old, the other 2...
They have curling leaves, and lso brown/yellow leaves.....HELP !! I have searched your archives and can't seem to find the answer..
This morning pruned them down to about a foot tall.(with dipping the pruners into a bleachsolution, just in case) but I sure don't want to lose them.

Based on your description, it sounds as though a late freeze or frost might have damaged tender early season foliage. If this is the case, they should regrow from the ground and possibly from the wood below your cuts as well.
