| Red twig dogwoods (either Cornus sericea and Cornus sanguinea) tend to sucker and spread from the roots, and can ultimately reach a width of ten feet in a thicket formation. For a good hedge in a short time, you might space them three or four feet apart. They do like a moister soil, so they should do well for you. |
