The Q&A Archives: Seeds In Daffodils

Question: I was looking at a daffodil and there were tiny seeds inside. If I planted the seeds, would new daffodils grow?

Answer: If the seeds are fully mature, they can be planted and may grow. They take several years to reach blooming size bulbs, however. The seedlings look more or less like a blade of grass.
