The Q&A Archives: Rockcress In Colors

Question: I am convinced that I have seen rockcress in pink. I think I have also seen it in red and purple. But, I have just gone through all my catalogs and can find it available only in white. Am I nuts, or am I thinking of the wrong plant?

Answer: Rockcress (Arabis) blooms in white, pink, and rose-purple. The most commonly available pink flowering rockcress is Arabis caucasica 'Variegata'. Thompson & Morgan, Inc. carries 'Pink Pearl', 'Pink Charm' and 'Rosabella'. Contact them at (800) 274-7333.
