We bought 2 pots of johnny jump ups and brought them home. After two days the flowers were completely gone. We watered them, and gave them light, yet they haven't bloomed again. The other plants at the store are all blooming. What are we doing wrong?

Johnny Jump Ups are short-lived pansy relatives. They thrive in cool weather and bloom profusely when conditions are just right, but then die out when temperatures get warm. Provide full to part afternoon shade, and cool, rich, moist soil that's slightly acidic. If you've planted yours in the garden, mulch the soil around the plants with peat moss to help increase acidity, and water often enough to keep the soil moist. Hope they perk up for you!
