We grew sweetcorn for the first time last year. I was looking at your answers on sweetcorn problems and seen planting in blocks. Our corn was not the best. It was small, but we had a very dry season last year. Our other vegetables did great. Can you define it for me? We are new at this and want to learn as much as we can.

Planting corn in blocks means a planting the corn in a grouping of several shorter rows side by side rather than one long row. This faciliates pollination.
