I have iris cristata and want to add another "evansia" (I think) called a Japanese Roof Iris or Tectorum to the bed. The bed is under trees and has alot of shade in summer, will the roof iris bloom in partial shade?

Iris tectorum will bloom in part shade to full sun, so give it as much sun as you can. It also needs a damp to moist, humusy, acid soil. Enjoy!
