I live in South western Connecticut. I would like to start a vegetable garden, but I am not sure it would get enough light. On average, how much sunlight must a tomato plant have to grow each day?

Most vegetables need 6-8 hours of full sun daily. These vegetables will tolerate less, but they still need some sunlight: beets, carrots, kale, lettuce, potatoes, scallions, radishes, rhubarb, spinach, Swiss chard. Thanks for writing!
