I have recently purchased two different low growing junipers. The planting instruction label says one should be planted in sun, and the other in full sun. I want to put them on the side of the house that gets sun till about 11 am. Will they survive? Are there junipers that will thrive in this location?

Junipers thrive in full sun. Planting them in a spot that gets only morning sun will compromise their health. Instead of planting the junipers on the shady side of your house, try to find a spot that gets at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Plants that will grow well in the spot you've described include azalea, euonymus and kalmia (mountain laurel).
