| We have a problem of privacy we are trying to remedy with lattice. We would like to cover it with at fast growing plant that keeps its leaves in the winter and flowers in the spring and/or summer. The plant would be in shade. Any ideas or suggestions. |
| It may be hard to find a perennial flowering vine that survives in your zone, but some suggestions are: Actinidia arguta - hardy kiwi Celastrus scandens - American bittersweet Vitis sp. - grape Some annual vines you might have luck with are Asarina sp., Cobaea scandens or cup-and-saucer vine, and Dolichos lablab or Hyacinth Bean, sweet pea or scarlet runner bean.
