HOW TO DIG AND STORE TULIP AFTER BLOOMING IN THE SPRING |
It is not necessary to dig up tulips, buit if you have deceidd to do so, here is how. Once the foliage has grown and matured and turned brown, remove and gently dig up the bulbs. Allow them to dry thoroughly and then store them in a cool dry place in a single layer on racks or screening to allow for good air circulation. A garage attached to an air conditioned house is usually cool and dry enough. Do check them periodically for rot, however. |
