I live on the Rhode Island seashore. Would a weeping cherry tree do well in my yard and, if not, what trees and bushes would thrive?

Beach plum or black cherry would be better choices for the seashore. Other salt-tolerant trees and shrubs include Norway maple, horse chestnut, white ash, honeylocust, Virginia creeper, white spruce, mugo pine, potentilla, white and red oak, and bridalwreath spirea.
