The Q&A Archives: Repelling Rabbits

Question: Hey can you recommend something to get rid of rabbits? If they would only eat the ground ivy, we'd get along just great but of course they enjoy nibbling on my pampered treasured flowers instead. Thanks again Kay Scolaro McHenry, IL

Answer: Now rabbits can be repelled by a number of home remedies including cayenne pepper mixed with garlic and sprayed around the lawn, moth balls or flakes sprinkled around, commercial products such as Hinder or Ropel and of course, a good dog or cat is the best defense. Rabbits would rather feed on the edge of your lawn and usually don't bother plants unless there are not other things to eat. A healthy lawn will keep them in the grass and not the garden.
