Passion flower is usually propagated by seed or by tip or stem cutting. If you try seeds, soak them for 24 hours in hot water to soften their coats and promote germination.
Or try cuttings in spring and summer: take a cutting about five inches long and remove the lower leaves, then place it upright into lightly dampened soil mix leaving just the top few leaves above the soil. (You may use a rooting hormone if you like, following the directions on the package.) Cover the pot with a loose tent of clear plastic wrap (support it on two pencils so it doesn't touch the cutting) and place in a
bright location out of direct sun. Applying gentle bottom heat can help speed things up. Keep the soil barely moist and occasionally lift the tent to allow fresh air into the chamber. If you do this during the hot and humid summer, you may have good results by simply placing the pot outdoors on the north side of the house. When the cutting has rooted, acclimate it over a week or so to normal growing conditions.

If you try seeds, soak them for 24 hours in hot water to soften their coats and promote germination.
