The Q&A Archives: Planting Of Pyramid

Question: I have a pryamid (vertical growing) I have radish, carrot. green onions, leaf lettuce growing. any suggestions on any other veggies, flowers that I could get good results with

Answer: Based on your description I am envisioning a stepped or tiered planter or series of containers. You should certainly be able to grow smaller pepper plants, cherry tomatoes, and herbs such as chives, parsley, basil and thyme once you r early season plants have gone by. You might also experiment with some of the smaller varieties of other vegetables such as bush cucumbers if the containers are large enough to support plants of that size. The smaller bedding begonias should also do very well.
