The Q&A Archives: Crop Yield

Question: How many bushels of tomatoes will the average package of seeds produce. How many pounds?

Answer: The answer really depends upon the variety of tomatoes and the growing conditions, but a good rule of thumb is that 2 grams of seed will plant a 100' row. General yield for a 100' row is about 150 pounds. Hope this information helps you plan your garden!
