| Usually, oddly shaped (one end swells ) or small cucumbers are caused by a lack of soil moisture or an inconsistently moist soil. You might try adding more organic matter to the soil to help it hold moisture better, use a mulch to help the soil retain moisture, and check to be sure that any watering you do penetrates deep into the soil. |
