The Q&A Archives: Caring for Foxglove After Bloom

Question: What do you do with your foxglove plant when it is done blooming? Stephanie Holden Galt, CA

Answer: Just cut off the old flower stalk of your foxglove once it finishes blooming and leave the foliage to naturally dieback. If you want it to self sow (and it will readily!!), just leave the flower stalks on until the seed pods open.
