The Q&A Archives: Azalea Pruning

Question: When is the right time to prune back Azaleas?

Answer: Azaleas produce flower buds during the summer months for the following spring's display of color. Prune your azaleas back as soon as they've finished flowering and they'll have plenty of time to produce buds for next years flush of bloom.
