The Q&A Archives: Drying Out Zinnias And Planting Next Year?

Question: Can zinnias be dried out for seed to plant the next year?

Answer: It is possible to save your own zinnia seeds and replant them from year to year, but if you are growing a hybrid the subsequent generations may not resemble the parents. There is also a possibility that the seed will not be viable.
