Due to the lousy weather in my area, rain, cold, etc.,I have not purchased my plants for my veggie garden,I usually have them in and planted by now.I am going away and will not be able to purchase them till around june 11th. Will I even be able to find any,and will there be a long enough growing season?

You have several options to consider. I am not sure if you will find tomato plants that late, either. You might ask a nursery to hold some for you -- and move them into larger pots so they don;t become stunted. You might purchase some and plant them now and ask a friend to keep an eye on them while you are gone. You might try planting tomato seeds now (or when you get back); the plants should grow and produce for you this summer -- it takes about two months or so, but indeterminate plants will produce until frost.
