The Q&A Archives: Plant Identification

Question: purchased plants at a fundraiser. Tag lists them as bright butterfrias or bright butterfries-outdoor finest mix. Cannot locate on web. Need to know about them before planting if possible. Thank you.

Answer: "Bright Butterflies" is a snapdragon developed in the 1960's. Instead of "snapping" like a typical snapdragopn flower, this one looks more like a pair of butterfly wings. It is a tall variety in the 24 to 36 inch range. Enjoy!
