Although a database search came up with 11 different varieties of Musa acuminata, from 'Apple' to 'Zebrina,' I didn't find a listing for 'Rojo.' Breeders are constantly introducing new plant varieties and they don't always make it into the references in a timely fashion. Most M. acuminata are about 6-8 feet tall. Here are sources of Musa that might be able to help you further. Good luck!
