During the middle of May I attempted to start Persion White Poppy plants in my garden. I did just as the the description of the seeds stated and now I have dilemma. This is my first attempt at starting Poppy plants and while there are many green leaves and plants starting to grow in the planting area I do not have a clue as to which is a weed and what is actually a poppy plant. I am looking for a description of a young poppy plant or a picture which would be most helpful in identifying the poppy plant.

Most annual poppies tend to have a frilly look and blue-green tint to the foliage, akin to the color of cabbage in the grocery store, as seedlings.
