Bells of Ireland (Moluccella) are annuals and prefer to grow outdoors. They like cool weather and flower during late spring and early summer. Provide ordinary soil, and a sunny to partly shady site. Water regularly (when the soil begins to dry out) and fertilize monthly during the growing season. Bells of Ireland self-seeds readily so if you plant them outdoors in a sunny bed, new little plants should sprout next year.
