My supersteak tomato plants were about 16" tall and got eaten down
to about 8" by deer over the weekend. Will they be OK, or should
I pull them and buy more plants from the Burpee store in Warminster?

Indeterminate tomatoes are occasionally pruned by the gardener, although not that substantially. I think they may recover, but for insurance you might replace the worst of them, especially if they are determinate plants and had begun to flower. You might want to contact Burpee directly to see what they have available at the store because I don't have access to that information and it is a bit late in the season to buy tomato plants. Their toll free customer service number is 800-333-5808. If they don't have them, you could still try replanting from seed or root tip cuttings.
