I have about 10 to 11 hybrid tomato plants in a fairly large pot, will they grow? If not will they be regularly sized or will they be mini-sized?

To some extent the plant size is determioned by the pot size. Most tomatoes need at least a five gallon bucket each and preferably even a half barrel sized planter -- although a half barrel can be used to grow two or three plants. Some varieties, however, can be grown in smaller containers, especially those bred for patio use. The tomato plants may be stunted if the pot is too small or if they are short changed on water or nutrients, but they will try to produce normal sized tomatoes. With optimum care you should be able to grow fruit well within the average expected size range for the particular varieties you are growing.
