I recently planted several herbs outside including basil, parsley, rosemary. The basil seems to be getting small, pinholes on some of the leaves but I see no visible sign of aphids or other insects. Do you know what might be causing this and is an organic pesticide helpful?

Tiny holes such as that could be caused by flea beetles. They can be excluded by using a summer weight row cover. You could also try a repellent such as a garlic or neem based spray, sinc ethis is a food plant be sure to read and follow the label instructions carefully.
