Bitter Zucchini - Knowledgebase Question

Some zucchini that I am picking is very bitter and is inedible. What may have caused this? What can I do to corrrect this without destroying all my plants.

Flavor is to some extent dependent on the variety you are growing, but the best flavored zukes are the smaller ones. (Baby zukes are a delicacy.) Moisture stress can also make them taste bitter, so make sure they are kept evenly moist during dry spells.
